Important: The timeframe to complete the tasks for Quest Two is now over. The campaign itself will remain open until Jan 14th to allow time to everyone to claim their OATs after submissions have been fully verified.
We're back with another Aptos Ecosystem Fundamentals quest! This time we are diving into the world of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) where we will be showing you how to stake, swap, and borrow on Aptos.
A special thanks to this week's partners Amnis, Thala, Merkle, Aries, Pontem, PancakeSwap, and SushiSwap.
Campaign Overview
To be eligible for this week's OAT you will be required to dive deep into the Aptos DeFi ecosystem by completing the tasks listed under Eligible Tasks.
Using the Google Form at the end of this page, submit the wallet address used to complete the on-chain actions.
A team member will manually verify submissions every few days until the end of the year. Eligible addresses will be able to mint the Quest Two OAT.
Eligible Tasks
1. Move Dollars: Swap zUSDC for MOD and supply it to Thala's Stability Pool
Thala enables seamless borrowing of their stablecoin, the Move Dollar ($MOD), as well as efficient liquidity provisioning on the Aptos Network.
This task will teach you how to bridge USDC to the Aptos Network and convert it into Move Dollars.
Steps Required
- If you don't already have zUSDC (Layer Zero USDC) then first go to ++the Aptos Bridge++ and bridge USDC from your chain of choice to Aptos USDC. This will appear in your wallet as zUSDC once completed.
- Visit Thala's ++swap page++ and swap zUSDC for MOD tokens.
- Deposit your MOD tokens into the Thala ++Stability Pool++ in return for up to 27.17% APR.
2. Learn to Ape on Merkle Trade
Merkle Trade is the first-ever gamified perp DEX and is native to the Aptos Network. To complete this task you will need to use zUSDC as collateral to trade an asset.
Steps Required
- If you don't already have zUSDC (Layer Zero USDC) then first go to ++the Aptos Bridge++ and bridge USDC from your chain of choice to Aptos USDC. This will appear in your wallet as zUSDC once completed.
- Launch the ++Merkle Trade app++ and use your zUSDC to leverage trade an asset on the platform.
3. Stake APT on Amnis
Amnis Finance offers users a simple and secure liquid staking option on Aptos. To complete this task, visit ++stake.amnis.finance++, select the amount of APT you wish to stake, and click 'Mint & Stake'.
Doing so will convert your APT into stAPT, which represents your now-staked APT tokens. stAPT can be used in other protocols on the Aptos Network to receive additional yield (more on that later).
4. Place a Simple Market Order on Econia Using One of Its Frontend Partners
To complete this task place a simple market order trade on Econia using one of its frontend partners shown here: ++https://www.econialabs.com/explore#trade++.
5. Perform a token swap using Pontem's Liquidswap DEX
Liquidswap DEX by Pontem is one of the first AMM's built natively on Aptos. To complete this task visit the ++Liquidswap DEX++ and perform a token swap.
6. Perform a token swap on the Aptos Network using PancakeSwap
PancakeSwap is one of the world's most popular AMMs and also supports token swaps on Aptos. To complete this task visit the ++PancakeSwap Exchange++ and perform a token swap.
Note: Ensure that the network is set to Aptos. Swaps performed on other networks will not count.
7. Perform a token swap on SushiSwap
SushiSwap is a DeFi app mostly known for being one of the leading and most popular AMMs. To complete this task visit the ++SushiSwap swap page++ and perform a token swap.
Note: Ensure that the network is set to Aptos. Swaps performed on other networks will not count.
Submit Your Aptos Wallet Address
Submit your Aptos wallet address using the following ++Google Form++.
If all the tasks have been properly completed, it will still take several days for your account to appear as eligible to claim the OAT.
Important: The Aptos wallet address submitted must match that which you used to complete the on-chain tasks. Furthermore, this wallet must match the one associated with your Galxe account. Failure to do so will mean you will be unable to claim your OAT.
