Bitcoin (BTC) Pizza Day is celebrated on May 22 to commemorate the first real-world commercial BTC transaction. In 2010, a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz famously purchased two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins from another user on the Bitcointalk forum.
